If you’ve ever wondered what your cats are doing on the computer while you’re not looking, this book will tell you – although after reading it, you may wish you could go back to those innocent days before you knew about Whiskerslist: The Kitty Classifieds.
You may have thought you only had to worry about your cats developing an online shopping habit? Not according to what Angie Bailey uncovered in her investigation of feline internet habits. Oh no. According to Angie, you have a lot more to be concerned about, such as your cats looking for love (or a quick hook up), locating seminars to refine the art of looking away while being photographed, finding support groups for compulsive behavior like cord chewing, and even trying to sell off a slightly-used human.
This is a beautifully designed book, featuring wonderful full color photographs of cats in, sometimes, compromising positions. Angie Bailey’s quirky humor and her unique ability to uncover and interpret feline behavior will have you smiling and laughing as you turn the pages.
Some of my favorites: a kitty in Allentown, PA is hosting a Holiday Depression Support Group for cats whose humans torture them with holiday clothing, antlers and hats. Zen Master Hairbala, a wise feline from Tulsa, OK, offers his services as an inspirational speaker, providing wise counsel such as “There may be flea, but there is no flee. I AM HERE NOW.” Attorney Mittens McMullen advertises legal assistance for felines who may have been physically harassed, aka petted, picked up or removed from favorite spots. And there’s the “Tortie Looking for Hot-Blooded Tom for Casual Sunbathing…or More!”
This is the kind of book you’ll pick up again and again, and you’ll discover something new to smile or laugh about each time. A word of caution:Â don’t leave this book out where your cats can find it. And change your computer passwords more frequently.
