2016 is going to be a big year for me! In addition to my new release, Tortitude: The BIG Book About Cats with a BIG Attitude, which will be published by Passionfruit Press on February 5 and is available for pre-order now. The second volume in the popular Purrs of Wisdom series will also be published by Passionfruit Press on June 5.

In Purrs of Wisdom: Enlightenment, Feline Style, I explore our relationships with cats by combining my professional expertise with compassionate insights into how cats can inspire, soothe and even help heal us. Based on the Conscious Cat Sunday column on this site, Purrs of Wisdom celebrates all our relationships, feline, human or otherwise. This beautifully designed book will also feature lots of gorgeous cat photos.

  1. CONGRATULATIONS! 2016 is starting out great for you…and it’s not even here yet. Wonderful! Would this be a resource book – for troubles with cats? (biting suddenly whilst being pet and purring)

    • Purrs of Wisdom provides wisdom for humans, courtesy of our cats. 🙂 It sounds like you’re dealing with petting aggression, this article may help: https://consciouscat.net/2012/02/08/petting-aggression-in-cats-biting-the-hand-that-loves/

  2. I can’t wait to read them both! I will be interested to learn more about torties as many people said that Jewel looked like a dilute tortie. She definitely had a unique personality, and so does the dilute tortie I’m in love with at my cat shelter. 🙂

Congratulations on your accomplishments – you are a great writer, Ingrid!
