Assisi Animal Health Announces Assisi Loop Lounge Air and Atom Therapy Pads

Pain management for cats just got even easier. The Assisi Loop Lounge is now available as Air and Atom therapy pads. Featuring the same pain control of the Loop via targeted pulsed electromagnetic field therapy (tPEMF™,) the Loop Lounge™ is the only therapeutic pet bed backed by scientific research.

What is targeted pulsed electromagnetic field therapy?

tPEMF, which was first studied in the 1970s and is FDA-cleared for use in humans, uses low-level pulses of electromagnetic energy to stimulate the body’s own healing mechanisms to help relieve pain and swelling.

Few safe options for feline pain management

Assisi Animal Health is proud to have created a technology that works especially well on a large variety of feline ailments, especially when other treatments can either fail or come with serious risks and side effects. The Assisi Loop technology offers a non-pharmaceutical, non-invasive treatment. Cats tolerate it much better than many medications. Not only that, but a lot of cats really enjoy receiving Loop treatments. Because the Loop stimulates the body’s own healing process, rather than introducing a new substance (like a medication), even a sensitive cat body can handle it easily.

Full-body anti-inflammatory treatment

The Assisi Loop Lounge Air measures 10 inches by 19.5 inches, the Atom measures 7.5 inches by 15 inches. The treatment field extends to 10 inches in depth. These dimensions and multiple-Loop configuration provide full-body anti-inflammatory treatment with Assisi Animal Health’s proprietary FDA cleared tPEMF technology.

And even better, the Air and Atom therapy pads are fully rechargeable with a controller box delivering 6,000 treatments before battery service is required. For a cat using a normal protocol of two to four treatments a day, the controller box will last four years.

The Assisi Loop Lounge Air and Atom are lightweight and easily transportable, allowing you to take your cat’s healing anywhere. The pad covers are easily removed, washable, waterproof, antibacterial and extremely comfortable.

The only therapeutic pet bed backed by scientific research

A two-year double blind study at the NC State College of Veterinary Medicine looked at using the Loop as part of pre-to-post-operative treatment to reduce pain and accelerate recovery in dogs undergoing spinal surgery. The results of this study undeniably show the Loop’s ability not only to reduce pain, but also to help the injured nerve tissue recover faster.

I consider this absolutely amazing news for cats. The Loop technology has made a tremendous difference  in the lives of so many cats already. Now this safe healing modality will be accessible even for cats who may not have adapted well to using the Loop.

I started with the Assisi Loop…and then bought the Sleepypod Lounge because of it being rechargeable. The loop did wonders for my cat Pumpkin and now she lays on the full pad and is still doing well! NOTE:: She will not lay in the Sleepypod Carrier but the pad comes out and she is fine laying on that in her favorite chair!

So this is essentially an Assisi loop in matress/pad form? Absolutely brilliant! Absolutely bloody brilliant! Can’t help but think about all of the furkids out there with illness and chronic pain who might get relief… Thank you for sharing this Ingrid.
