Review: RompiCatz Cat Toys

Rompicatz-cat-toys

RompiCatz, a new line of toys from the creator of the popular Neko Flies, are designed to engage your cat’s natural hunting and prey instinct. Ellen understands the importance of mental stimulation and physical exercise for indoor cats. She has been creating toys that move and act like real prey for many years. Her toys provide endless opportunities to keep cats engaged and happy.

We received an assortment of RompiCatz’ new wand toys and Allegra and Ruby were eager to get to work and test them all for you.

Feather ‘N Fabric Teaser

This soft, fuzzy “snake” toy on a clear plastic rod has a bell sown into the end of the snake for extra appeal. It comes in three bright, primary colors (green, blue and pink.) Ruby loves chasing this teaser up her scratching pole.

Plush Tip Teaser

This  soft teaser comes on a shorter rod, which makes it a great toy to guide your kitty up and down furniture and cat trees for a varied play experience. This was a particular hit with Allegra.

Feather ‘N Bell Wand Teaser

This gliding toy comes as both a cat and a fish. The feathers add additional enticement. These toys feature an elastic string and have a bell attached.  Like all wand toys, these toys should only be used with supervision. If you know that bells may be a problem for your cats, simply remove it before playing with your cat.

I’m a cat sitter and play with lots of cats every day including my own. I put Neko Flies on 60 lb fishing line and attach them to wands. Kitties see the antics of the flies but not the line. Hiding the flies here and there and moving them like they’re alive drives them crazy!

We exercise with our indoor kitties all the time. We are going to check out these toys for them. Thank you for sharing the videos so we get to see them in action. Have a great day and thank you again.

Those are really cool new toys. Miss Lulu will need some. I love it when my husband or I are in a different room and she wants to play. we can hear her dragging her wand toys across the house to where we are. She will drop it at one of our feet (whoever she wants to play with).

Very cool new designs. She definitely knows what cats like. My guys live snake like toys so I’m excited about that one but they are both well thought out. Loved seeing the girl’s tests.
