Cats are masters at hiding pain. By the time a cat guardian recognizes that a cat is in pain, chronic pain may already have a considerable impact on the cat’s quality of life. This can be especially true when it comes to arthritis, a degenerative joint disease that affects as many as 3 in 10 cats. Only 7% of cats with arthritis receive treatment for this often debilitating condition.

While there are conventional pain medications that can help control feline pain, most come with considerable risk and negative side effects. The Assisi Loop provides safe and effective pain relief without adverse effects.

How does the Assisi Loop work?

The Assisi Loop features targeted pulsed electromagnetic field therapy (tPEMF™). This modality was first studied in the 1970s and is FDA-cleared for use in humans. It uses low-level pulses of electromagnetic energy to stimulate the body’s own healing mechanisms to help relieve pain and swelling. For a detailed explanation of the technology, please visit the Assisi Animal Health website.

Assisi Animal Health found that this technology works especially well on feline arthritis. It is a non-pharmaceutical, non-invasive treatment. Cats tolerate it much better than many medications. Not only that, but a lot of cats really enjoy receiving Loop treatments. Because the Loop stimulates the body’s own healing process, rather than introducing a new substance (like a medication), even a sensitive cat body can handle it easily.

Proven science with positive results

A two-year double blind clinical trial on dogs recovering from spinal surgery at NC State College of Veterinary Medicine showed that the Loop not only reduces pain, but also helps the injured nerve tissue recover faster. This enables the pet to return more quickly to normal function.”

The Assisi Loop Helps Shade with Stomatitis

Treatment of stomatitis can be very frustrating. The goal is to control the inflammatory response. Typically, a cat will need to have a thorough cleaning of teeth to remove all plaque and tartar accumulation both above and below the gum line. Cats may be given antibiotics and anti-inflammatory steroids; however, they usually only offer short term relief. Eventually, most cats will require extraction of all of their teeth.

Shade never had any dental work done, she was treated with the Assisi Loop.

“His entire demeanor has changed,” said Stephanie. “He has become more friendly and social. He rarely meowed or cried for attention and now he is constantly meowing at us to feed or pet him. His GI issues have virtually disappeared, his gums aren’t as inflamed and his breath barely smells.”

The Assisi Loop Helps Cleo with Chronic Bladder Inflammation

The time between flare ups of Cleo’s chronic bladder issues has increased after Cleo’s guardian started using the Loop. Cleo used to need weekly laser treatments for three weeks at least every month or every six week. “Now we can sometimes go 3 to 4 months between laser sessions,” says Angela.

35 Comments on Giveaway: Safe and Effective Pain Control for Cats with the Assisi Loop

  1. I would love to win the Assisi Loop for 2 reasons. First I have 2 older cats, ages 11 and 8 who are starting to show signs of arthritis. Second, I have a 5 yr old cat with Megacolon, and I’m hoping that the Loop might help her in some way because there’s really no good or effective treatment for her.thank you.

  2. If I win this, I will give it to my brother that has a very limited income. His cat, Bubba, has back end issues and this should help him a lot.

  3. My girl just got a torn ligament and the vet recommended the assisi loop to speed up the healing and reduce the pain but the price is a little much. To win this would be a great blessing!

  4. My cat Mya Louise is 25 years old and has arthritis so it hurts her to squat in the litter box. Getting her to take a prescribed pain Med has been difficult because they taste yucky to her! Would love to win and try this out! She also went through a rough time a couple of years ago with dental work and has been having tiny “seizures” since. I’m curious if this could help that too?! Thank you for a chance to win!

      • Hi Stacie! I happened to see your comment re. yucky tasting pain meds. We gave our Annabelle oral, liquid buprenorphine which we purchased from a reputable, online compounding pharmacy that not only was far cheaper than our vet but it was flavored as well.

  5. I’d love to win one for two of my rescue cats, one a 6-year-old with stomatitis, and the other a 17-year-old with arthritis in his hips.

  6. I have a 12 year old cat that suffers from pain every time she bites and itches. I just want to make her comfortable. This product sounds like a great product and it might be what I need to make her comfortable to win. This would be a great product to win. I really hope I win.

  7. I have an 8 year old cat that suffers from issues due to FHV. I would love to find something that could keep him more comfortable.
    Thanks!

  8. I would love to win this, my current kitties do not have any issues, but I had two that had to be put to sleep within a year of each other that had many issues and I wonder if this would have helped them.

  9. I have 6 cats all of whom could use this product but especially my oldest female, Mama Gray. She has had a tough life outside until 3 years ago when she ran in my front hall but she had yet to trust me or allow any handling so I would hope that she might lie on this and bring her some relief.

  10. Having been able to use the Assisi Loop at the shelter where I volunteer I have seen the incredible results. I have four kitties and three of them are seniors. Marlin has arthritis, Finn has issues with oral pain after dealing with Stomatitis when he was younger and Jonesey deals with bladder inflammation periodically. We know the assisi loop would be so beneficial for all 3. Thanks!

  11. We’d love a Loop for our kitties and to share with friends’ cats who are also getting up in years and having some problems. Thanks for the giveaway!

  12. I would love to have one for our 12 yr old Smores. She has arthritis and cancer. She doesn’t jump or climb stairs. We have her on meds but need more for her. Thank you for the opportunity to win a loop.

  13. My baby Macy could so use this! She has hip arthritis and we have tried medication in pill form, liquid in various flavors and tried concealing it in food, etc, but she will not take it at all. We can’t afford the loop on our own and it pains me to not be able to help her. She grows more irritable and fights with my younger cat, doesn’t want to be held or play anymore. Thank you for offering this!

  14. My 17 yo boy has arthritis, a thyroid condition, and high blood pressure. Anything that would help him feel better would be a god send.

  15. I adopted 8yo Susie in 2016. She had untreated stomatitis. She had all her teeth removed in 2017, but still has some issues

  16. Would love to win this for our kitty Paigey who suffers from Arthritis. It’s getting tough for her to get up the stairs. This would be wonderful to win
