Mews and Nips: Cats are Taking Over Nativity Scenes

Earlier this week, ABC News shared a photo captured by photographer Brooke Goldman, who discovered a cat getting cozy in a nativity scene in Queens, NY. The photo went viral and spurred others to share photos of cats crashing nativity scenes. The Daily Mail has one of the best collections here.

If you missed any of the stories featured on the Conscious Cat this week, here’s a recap: on Sunday, I shared tips on how to make the most of the holiday season, on Monday, I told you about a breakthrough in a clinical trial that offers the first real hope for a treatment of FIP, on Tuesday, we reviewed the adorable Egg Tart Cat Bed, on Wednesday, we reviewed the Primetime Petz Pet Lounge, on Thursday, we featured Timothy Easton’s cat paintings, and on Friday, we introduced Catit’s Hunter and Diner Value Bundles to spoil kitties who have been good all year.

Today’s video is a collection of some of SImon’s Cat’s most festive moments – enjoy!

Have a great weekend!

My cats have not yet taken over my Nativity Scene, however I have a Nativity Scene that IS cats. All of the figures, including baby jesus, are cats. I have not seen another like it and I put it out every year.

Thanks,Ingrid, for all your wonderful articles and tips. I followed your link to triple-tstudios and their Meowza items. I bought the gloves with the black cats(following your link I got an email with 50%off). They run small so I ordered large and they are perfect! They even included a kitty paw sticky notepad with the order, which shipped very quickly.
