Giveaway: Petlinks Flitter Fly

Flitter-Fly-cat-toy

This giveaway is sponsored by Petlinks Products

The Flitter Fly is an entirely new take on motion cat toys. This whirl-and-catch wind toy blows colorful butterflies and lightweight feathers around a clear bowl with a gentle fan. Cats delight in poking a paw through the top opening, trying to catch the swirling butterflies. Sporadically a feather will fly out of the bowl, inspiring cats to pounce. The variable speed fan speeds up, slows down and occasionally stops to captivate cats, and the timed auto-shutoff feature helps preserve the life of the included replaceable batteries.

I was a little concerned about the fan in this toy when I first heard about it, and was happy to see that our friends at Hauspanther reviewed this toy a few months ago. They assured us that the fan is completely safe for curious kitty paws. ” The blades of the fan are made from thin, flexible plastic — just strong enough to create a whirlwind but gentle enough not to harm paws when they go inside” wrote Kate Benjamin in her review. “Actually, if a paw or a finger does touch the fan it stops spinning, too.”

Do you think your kitties would enjoy this clever motion toy?

We have two cats, one is only four months old and I think this would be some awesome interaction for him. We don’t have a pet store in our town, so finding new toys like this in store is difficult.

I had a toy similar to this, but the opening was on the side so the butterflies wouldn’t stay in. This looks like a major improvement. I would love to win this.

Reminds me of the elephant toy I used to have when I was little. It had a fan that blew butterflies out and you caught them with a net.

Nice to see a unique cat toy!!! I’d love for my kitties to have one!!
