I keep our litter boxes scrupulously clean. I pretty much scoop as soon as Allegra or Ruby deposit something in one of our two boxes (especially if it’s in the one right outside my office). And you better believe I make sure I do a good job, because Allegra, our official box supervisor, always follows behind and makes sure I’ve done it right.

I’m a firm believer that if there’s something you have to do every day, multiple times a day, you should have the best possible tool to do it with to make it easy on yourself. When it comes to litter scoops, I have yet to find a better product than Litter Lifter™. This cleverly designed scoop gets the job done quickly and easily. The scoops are sturdy enough to scrape free even urine that attaches to the bottom or sides of the box without a whole lot of effort. You don’t have to shake the scoop to get rid of clean litter, it just drops through the specially angled blades, and even very small litter clumps stay in the scoop.

The Litter Lifter™ comes in three sizes and 14 colors. I use the smallest size, sold as the Travel model, because I find it easiest to maneuver in the corners of the box, but I think the larger ones would probably make clean up even faster if I could get used to them, and they would probably be a better choice if you have a lot of boxes to scoop.

If you haven’t tried the Litter Lifter, you don’t know what you’re missing. It really is a magic scoop!

I’ve managed to break 3 scoops recently when we had to change from natural litter to clay. 2 Termite outbreaks one in the wall next to the litter, the litter attracted them, 3 cats had to see a vet for uti from stress. I don’t get a break from constant problems in this money pit I inherited. Oh, to be a wealthy land owner on a piece of land under water!

  9. I would love to win these scoops. I rescued 6 kitties from PURRS Naperville over the years. I also volunteer for PURRS Naperville. I am responsible for the volunteer team in 1 of the 3 stores we have our kitties in. We also have cats in foster homes and these scoops would be a great ‘gift’ to give to a foster family as they care for one of our kitties who might be under the weather or just need a cage break. PURRS Naperville is located in Naperville, IL. Our mission is to become a no-kill DuPage (county). Visit our webpage at purrsnaperville.org

  10. Have 2 litter boxes to scoop every day. Currently trying different kinds of litter since Tidy Cat is no longer clumping very well (they must have changed something since we’ve been trying different versions of their brand). Now trying Arm & Hammer Clump & Seal in one of the litter boxes. So we could use another scoop for one of the litter boxes.
