Tipsy Nip Organic Catnip Products Review

Purple_Haze_catnip_toy

Let me just cut to the chase: Allegra and Ruby went nuts as soon as I slit open the package from Tipsy Nip™ Organic Catnip Products, the creators of the original Tickle Pickle™! Even I could smell the catnip before I took the toys out of their plastic wrap. Allegra started chewing on the packages – clearly, I wasn’t opening them fast enough. That is some potent catnip!

The girls were in catnip heaven. We received two Purple Haze Tickle Pickles™, two packages of Tickle Gherkins, a Tummy Tickler, and two Tipsy Nip Organic Cat Grass kits.

All Tipsy Nip™ products are made in Vermont from only the best quality materials and ingredients. They created the now famous Tickle Pickle™,a fun little hand-knit toy, stuffed with 100% organic catnip, in 2007. Two years ago, they upgraded the design and the materials. Their mission is to create products that make cats insanely happy – and to have a Tickle Pickle™ in every cat home! In addition to the Tickle Pickle™, they have developed a number of other cat toys that are durable, organic, and nontoxic.

Both of the girls loved the Purple Haze Tickle Pickle and the Gherkins. Here’s an action shot of Ruby playing with a Gherkin:

These toys are incredibly well made and hold up extremely well even to vigorous kicking. We’ve had our original Tickle Pickle™ for more than two years. It gets used all the time, and it’s still in great shape!

Watch Ruby have fun with the Purple Haze:

Allegra loved the Tummy Tickler. This interactive toy is made with organic hemp and leather lace, and it has a little bell attached. She was dancing all over the place following the toy.

They seem to be loving these toys! Does the catnip lose its potency after a while?

We’ve had our Tickle Pickle for several years, and Allegra and Ruby still love it!

Strangely, I’ve never had a cat that liked catnip or cat mint. Have some planted in the outside pen, but my girl never touches it.

Think I’m going to break down and get some items for the girls.

Whoa! I’ve read about that nip. It’s the stuff legends are made out of; however, I don’t know first-hand.

I am convinced cats just “know” things. I can bring packages in from my mail box and if I had two – one for me and one for them – they would jump to open the one for them.

      Isn’t that the truth, Jobi!
