As far as product reviews go, reviewing the Classy Cat Dish was quite possibly one of Allegra and Ruby’s favorite projects. I used treats for the photo shoot, and it took several rounds to get some really good shots, so the two of them made out quite well!

I love everything about this food dish. For starters, it’s really pretty. My photos don’t do the soft marbled pink justice. The dish is shallow and wide, which makes it a perfect dish for cats, who don’t like it when their whiskers bump against the edge of a food bowl.

Allegra and Ruby give the Classy Cat Dish four paws up. They call it the “magic treat dish.”

Elevated bowls can be especially helpful for senior cats with arthritis. They allow the cat to eat standing up, rather than crouching with already painful joints. Elevated dishes can also aid with proper digestion.

And now you can win one of these Classy Cat Dishes for your cat! Winner gets to choose size and color.

97 Comments on Review and giveaway: Classy Cat Dishes

  1. Princess and Queenie would love these higher dishes. Princess has her dry food feeder on a shelf and loves it so I know she would love a high food bowl for wet food. Queenie is arthritic and this would make eating much easier for her. She has to bend her head down to eat currently.

These are also a classy set of cat bowls and fit for my feline royalty. If Ruby and Allegra love them we know they are cat approved. 🙂

I shared this on Facebook and Twitter also. Thanks for offering another great giveaway for the readers of your blog Ingrid.

  2. Alex and Juliette would love this dish. They both share their food with each other. Alex is ten years old and would love a blue one. I would love it too. Leaning over to feed the cats at times hurts. I like the idea that it is elevated. During the summer time, bugs would not find it easy to find their food. What an idea!!!

  3. I think these bowls are simply wonderful and have wanted a few for a loooooong time. They seem more ergonomic for a cat. Thanks for the terrific giveaway.

  4. I would love to win this for my cat, Simon. He’s been very ill with neurological issues (among other things) the past month, and right now it’s hard for him to lean over to eat. I’ve been putting him on my bed pillow, then holding up the dish up for him. This dish would be sooo perfect for him! Of course it’s beautiful, and I love the look!

  5. I’ve got two twelve year olds and think they’d love the pretty elevated feeding platform. Much more comfortable, I’m sure. Thank you

  6. Squee has acid reflux, esophageal motility issues amonst other issues….these raised dishes look just the right height for him to eat comfortably. We would LOVE to own one!

  7. Just because it is pink and we have one little princess who is snuggled up at my feet who would love to share it with her brother.

  8. I would love to win this and donate it to my favorite rescue-Forever Home Feline Ranch. We have several older cats and this would be perfect for them. Thanks for the opportunity.

  9. I’d love to get one of these for Casey-cat, who sometimes feels too nauseated to eat if she has to bend down to get the food. I do have elevated feeders for her, but I think they’re still too low.

Happy Turkey Day to you and the girls! 🙂

  10. My Bailey would absolutely loves this. We believe she has megaesophagus, which causes her to regurgitate her food often. She has a shallow flat stainless steel bowl which is placed on top of a small plastic crate, so that she sits up to eat, and that helps the food to go down easier. Also, she has always eaten way too quickly, so with the flat, wide, shallow bowl, her canned food is spread out, and then kibble sprinkled and smooshed into the canned food. This has helped tremendously. Now she just needs something more fashionable, like this!!

  11. My beloved best boy Smokey is 10 years old now, and I’m always on the lookout for anything that makes his life easier and more enjoyable. He loves all treats, and this awesome dish would be perfect for him!

  12. Oh my goodness these are purrfect. Raised bowls help kitties fight nausea… easier to digest… my little girl Boo is fighting heart disease and now in the early stage of renal failure. Drinking is of the upmost importance and I know she would continue with a neat bowl like this. I have extra bowls throughout the house to encourage her but that raised type would be awesome!

    • My cats have been drinking twice the amount of water since I got a drinking fountain. I am truly amazed how many times I fill the bowl.

  13. I’d love these for my two cats. I already put their bowls on upside down casseroles. I heard it was better for their ingestion and digestion. And I love that the material is stone (not plastic!).

  14. This bowl would be perfect for Moses! He has neck problems and having a bowl at head level would make drinking water much more comfortable for him.

  15. My oldest cat really needs this dish, not only is he 10, he has stomach issues so eating in an upright position is extremely helpful to prevent regurgitation.

  16. To help Linsdsey when he got old, I put his normal dish over a can of beans. This would be so much more classy for Vir and Galen — I think they would love this dish, rather than whatever canned good I had at the time!

  17. Buddy would love this! He’s a senior citizen kitty who scatters his kibble all over the floor every day. He wouldn’t have to crouch to get at the goods and could have fun hearing the pieces fall off and hit the floor. Sort of like bb’s. Hope he wins this!

  18. Beautiful piece, my guys are so picky about their ‘dinner and drinkware’ I know this would be a hit! Great find, love the pictures.

  19. My Ellie and Lilly would think they are the most spoiled cats ever having a dish like this, and i know elevated dishes are better for animals, hard to find for cats though. They would love this.

  20. I would LOVE this for my Luna-Girl. She is 18-ish! we adopted her from a shelter when her elderly previous owner died

(PLEASE tell your readers to make arrangement for ALL their kids).

She was about 12 or 13 the vets said. This would be great for her.

  21. I would LOVE to win the Classy Cat Bowl for my kitties! They are getting older, and the easier it is for them to eat, the happier they like it!
