The old saying “don’t judge a book by its cover” most definitely does not apply to Real Men Love Cats. I loved this book just as much as I love the title and the cover. The fourth and final book in Nic Tatano’s series about four friends and their four cats delivers romance, lovable human and feline characters and plenty of plot twists to keep you turning the pages.Continue Reading

I discovered Nic Tatano’s books earlier this year, when I read The Lost Cats and Lonely Hearts Club. In that book, network reporter Madison Shaw discovers a litter of four orphaned kittens. There are four women at the center of all the action in the book, Madison, and her best friends Tish, A.J. and Rory. When the kittens were old enough to go to their forever homes, guess where they went? The second book in the series The Empire State Cat’s Christmas Gift, features Tish and her kitten. I was delighted when Nic sent me an advance copy of The Sunshine Cat’s Choice, the newest book in the series.Continue Reading

And it features a tortoiseshell kitten – how much better can a book get!Continue Reading

Book review: Animal Attraction by Jill Shalvis

Animal-Attraction-Jill-Shalvis

Okay, admit it: is this book cover totally cute? Not to mention hot? When this book caught my eye at my local Barnes and Noble store a while back, I just had to buy it. I do enjoy a nice romance novel every once in a while, and if there’s a cat in it, so much the better.

I did read the back cover before I bought it, just to make sure there really was a cat in the book, and yes, right there, it said “There’s nothing like working with animals, having a forlorn, grumpy stray kitten make its home under your desk…”Continue Reading
