Volana Kote (aka Jen Glick) is a Delaware based jewelry designer who creates gorgeous pieces incorporating naturally fallen cat whiskers or your cat’s ashes. Her creations range from necklaces to earrings to bracelets. She also offers keychains, cuff links and tie clips. Most pieces are available with a choice of different metals.
Jen accepts naturally fallen whiskers only. Whiskers are deeply rooted and rich in blood vessels and nerve endings and should never be pulled or plucked out. (Trimmed whiskers are acceptable only upon a cat’s transition.) Two whiskers are suggested for each charm. If sending ashes, about 1 teaspoon in a sealed container is needed for each piece.
Each piece is custom made with love and care within approximately 30 days of whisker receipt.
One of Jen’s newest creations are stunning Purrfection Whisker keepsakes. These adorable charms are available as necklaces and bracelets in a huge variety of colors.
