When it comes to cat beds, Allegra is usually not interested, but when I first saw PetFusions Ultimate Lounge Bed, I had a feeling she would love it. I was right. Within seconds of setting it up, she was on the bed, and she settled in for her first of many long naps. Unlike Ruby, who curls up when she sleeps, Allegra likes to have room to stretch out when she naps.Â
This bed is one of the best made pet beds I’ve seen. It features a solid 2.5 inch thick memory foam base, generously filled support bolsters, a water and tear resistant cover, and a non-skid bottom. It comes in three sizes (we got the small.)
Assembly is super easy, and you know when I say that, that’s saying something! Simply insert the memory foam base and zip it closed. The fabric cover removes for easy cleaning, and replacement covers can be purchased.
The bed comes with a 12 month warranty on any part that is broken due to manufacturer defect.
Of course it was only a question of time before Ruby discovered the bed, too. And that’s the only problem with this bed: Allegra and Ruby both love it. And while the girls will sleep near each other on my bed, even though this bed is generously sized, it’s not quite large enough for them to share. They seem to have worked out a rotation schedule, and it is being used at some point by one or the other every single day. If that’s not a testament to a comfy bed, I don’t know what is.
