We’re big fans of Ellen Carozza here at The Conscious Cat. This dedicated veterinary technician with more than 24 years of experience is passionate about neonatal kittens, and has saved well over 400 so far. Her newest charge is Hamish. He’s one of a litter of five. His siblings all weighed well over a pound, while he remained stuck at five ounces. The Animal Welfare League of Arlington turned Hamish over to Ellen and NOVA Cat Clinic, where he was started on one of their critical kitten care protocols. In just a few days, Hamish blossomed under Ellen’s expert care. For more about Hamish (along with adorable photos,) please visit LoveMeow.com, or follow Ellen on Instagram and Facebook.

If you missed any of the stories featured on the Conscious Cat this week, here’s a recap: on Monday, we reported on a study that explored how a cat guardian’s personality influences their cat’s well-being, on Tuesday, we told you about the importance of the microbiome for your cat’s health, on Wednesday, I shared a cute story about Allegra, Ruby and their cat sitter, on Thursday, we featured Lil BUB, who partnered with Scoop Away Cat Litter to raise awareness about special needs pets, and on Friday, we introduced you to the wonderful Cosmic Cat Wisdom Cards.

Today’s video of a kitten making air biscuits is the cutest thing I saw all week – what a happy little guy. Enjoy!

Have a great weekend!
