Cat cafes originated in Japan as a place where people could go to get something to eat and drink and spend time hanging out with cats. The concept has spread around the world, and over the last few years, a large number of cat cafés opened all around the United States. Our friends at Hauspanther have compiled a directory of all US locations.

If you missed any of the stories featured on the Conscious Cat this week, here’s a recap: on Monday, Allegra and Ruby shared their New Year’s resolutions, on Tuesday, we celebrated the New Year, on Wednesday, we shared tips on how to make this the healthiest and happiest year for your cats, and on Thursday, we provided information on how to transition your cat to a healthier diet. And don’t forget to enter our giveaway for a 2019 Conscious Cat Wall Calendar!
