For football fans, this is the most exciting weekend of the year, but even if you couldn’t care less about football, for the past seven years, the Hallmark Channel has made Super Bowl Sunday fun for cat lovers. Kitten Bowl VII includes over 100 kitten and cat athletes, all of whom have been adopted into loving homes. The Hallmark Channel is also airing the second annual Cat Bowl today. The Cat Bowl features adult, senior and special-needs felines. For more information about both events, please visit the Hallmark Channel website.

If you missed any of the stories featured on the Conscious Cat this week, here’s a recap: on Monday, we interviewed Dr. Elizabeth Colleran about feline arthritis, on Tuesday, we reported on Sleepypod’s commitment to safety, on Wednesday, we featured Triple T Studio’s Valentine’s Collection, on Thursday, we reviewed Pet Fusion’s Ultimate Scratcher Lounge, and on Friday, we remembered that time Ruby became the cover girl for my second book.

The kitty in today’s video seems to have found the best spot in the house. Just look at that blissful little face!

3 Comments on Mews and Nips: Cat Bowl and Kitten Bowl Return to Hallmark Channel

  1. For some unknown reason Cat Bowl was not on Hallmark tonight at 11PM, in my area. I was looking forward to this all week and tonight.

  2. I’ll definitely be watching Cat and Kitten Bowl. My husband and I are not football fans and don’t care about the Super Bowl.
