Cats are masters at hiding pain, which makes it hard for even the most dedicated cat parent to recognize. By the time pain become obvious, chronic pain may have already had a considerable impact on the cat’s quality of life. While there are conventional pain medications that can help control feline pain, most come with considerable risk and negative side effects. The Assisi Loop provides safe and effective pain relief without adverse effects.

How does the Assisi Loop work?

The Assisi Loop features targeted pulsed electromagnetic field therapy (tPEMF™). This modality was first studied in the 1970s and is FDA-cleared for use in humans. It uses low-level pulses of electromagnetic energy to stimulate the body’s own healing mechanisms to help relieve pain and swelling. For a detailed explanation of the technology, please visit the Assisi Animal Health website.

Assisi Animal Health found that this technology works especially well on feline arthritis. It is a non-pharmaceutical, non-invasive treatment. Cats tolerate it much better than many medications. Not only that, but a lot of cats really enjoy receiving Loop treatments. Because the Loop stimulates the body’s own healing process, rather than introducing a new substance (like a medication), even a sensitive cat body can handle it easily.

Proven science with positive results

A two-year double blind clinical trial on dogs recovering from spinal surgery at NC State College of Veterinary Medicine showed that the Loop not only reduces pain, but also helps the injured nerve tissue recover faster. This enables the pet to return more quickly to normal function.”

  1. I would love to win the Assisi Loop for my 2 gals. I have miniature schnauzers and my oldest has disc disease. I go to the vet for laser and acupuncture about every 2 weeks. She has developed incontinence problems with her bowels because the disc is pressing on the nerves to control her bowels. The laser and acupuncture and the Assisi Loop help with this problems and her walking. It is a day to day on going problem. Some days she is much better than others. My bed is covered in potty pads.

  2. Dora my 11-year-old Siamese sadly is very arthritic at 11. I periodically give her Adequan injections, but The Assisi Loop would be wonderful to use on her! 9. My almost 17-year-old boys, Jacques and Pierre, would love to try the Assisi Loop. Jacques especially had bad arthritis and can no longer jump into my lap or onto the bed. We’ve found functional work arounds, like pet stairs, but I still worry that he is in so much pain.

We’re currently on our third one, (thanks to being made aware of them by reading The Conscious Cat, and they have really helped our older kitties, Anya and Oscar.
