A cat missing for eight months in Braintree, Essex in the UK was reunited with his family after his human recognized his meow while she was on the phone with her vet talking about one of her other cats. 6 Comments on Mews and Nips: Missing Cat Found After His Human Recognized His Meow During Phone Call to Her Vet

  1. Wonderful story about the reunion! I know I could recognize Beignet’s “ma-WOW” over the phone, but I could never distinguish my other cats’ meows. Beignet is an original!

  2. A happy ending to the Fatman kitty story. Amazing how she recognized his voice at the vets. What a coincidence! Or was it?
The cat with the snow was sculpting snow angel wings!

  3. What a sweet story. I’m glad Barnaby was found. I honestly don’t know if I could recognize one of my cat’s meows over the phone. I can distinguish each one at home, but may not in that situation. I love the kitty playing with the snow video. Have a good weekend!

  4. I love the story about fat man who is found again! My kitty was missing 3 1/2 weeks and my world was crashing. I love your website. I have bought so many things from it that I didn’t know about until you showed us. I just recently bought the ladder from Etsy. What a beautiful thing it is! My cats are trying it out a different one just trying it each day not sure about it but I know when it’s there long enough they’ll all be on it. Thank you so much for your help and for your dedication

    • I can’t even imagine how horrible those 3 1/2 weeks must have been, Jane. Thank you for your kind words about my website, Jane. I’m sure your cats will come to love the ladder!
