Thanks to her worried cat, an 83-year-old woman in Cornwall, England, who had fallen down a ravine, was found and rescued. Her black cat Piran had meowed relentlessly at the point where she’d fallen, leading a neighbor, who had been helping search crews, right to her. For more about Piran the hero cat, visit NPR.org.

If you missed any of the stories featured on the Conscious Cat this week, here’s a recap: on Monday, Dr. Lynn Bahr answered reader questions, on Tuesday, we featured the Sleepypod Comfort Suede Collar, on Wednesday, Allegra told you about what it was like when I went away for the weekend, on Thursday, we explained why raw food is an appropriate choice for any lifestage, and on Friday, we told you about a new documentary that aims to raise awareness about the alarming increase in suicides among veterinarians.

Today’s video features another one in the series of videos South African musician David Scott created with his cat – enjoy!

Have a great weekend!
