Clicker Training for Cats

Cats are often considered untrainable – but nothing could be further from the truth. Not only are cats far more sociable than many people used to think, they can also be easily trained. One popular and effective way to do this is with clicker training.

Clicker training is a positive reinforcement method based on behavioral psychology. Marking desirable behavior with a sound, usually a click, communicates to the cat that she is doing something you want her to do.

If I get another kitten, I think I am going to try this. Mine are so set in their ways now that I don’t know if it would work now.
