Gwen Cooper’s Curl Up with a Cat Tale series features humorous and heartwarming short stories about the ongoing adventures of Gwen’s feline family. I find myself falling a little bit more in love with Gwen’s cats with each story. In this month’s installment Gwen talks about something we’re all familiar with: dealing with cat claws.

Cat parents will recognize themselves and their own cats as Gwen shares stories of her experiences ranging from decorating her home (and making compromises) to accommodate her feline family’s needs for scratching to adventures in nail trimming. Homer was not exactly the poster child for easy nail trims. I found the way Gwen adapted to accommodate dealing with that challenge particularly heart touching.

Reading Gwen’s stories is something I look forward to every month, and I can’t wait for the next installment.

Individual stories in the Curl Up with a Cat Tale series are available on Amazon, Nook, etc., or you can make a one-time payment of $14.99 to get all the stories for the whole year at a 60% discount off the retail price – and you know you’re going to want to read the whole series. You can take advantage of that offer at: https://www.gwencooper.com/cat-tales.

Keeping your feline friend’s claws trimmed is safety for both him/her and you. No scratches for both, the furniture, or even an extra place to pick up debri. But as all cat lovers, please remember to never do anything silly, such as having your cat declawed. How would you feel if someone
plucked out all your nails and toenails?

This sounds good. Speaking of claws, all of my girls need a nail trim. It takes both, my husband and myself to get the job done.
