Meow MeetUp Chicago, the Midwest’s largest cat convention, takes place July 20 and 21, 2019 at the Donald E Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL. The event has a long lineup of activities that are geared toward cat lovers of all ages.

Some highlights:

  • Destress with a kitty yoga session or pamper yourself at the nail paw-lor.
  • Looking for a new feline family member? Meet adorable adoptable cats from the Almost Home Foundation at the cat café, the kitty yoga studio or the adoption lounge.
  • Feeling creative? Paint the purrfect tribute to your pet! Sign up for a pet portrait painting session and paint your pet under the guidance of an artist.
  • Educate yourself about cats: cat experts that will be covering topics from how to help community cats to clicker training and much, much more.

The event partners with a variety of rescues and donates a generous percentage of their ticket sales sold through rescues back to those organizations, so even if you’re not able to adopt a new feline friend, attending the event can still help make a difference for homeless pets. Last year, the event raised $10,000 and donated 16,000 cats of cat food.

  1. I’m going to be there for Meet and Greets both Saturday and Sunday! In fact, my Saturday visits are all booked, so I only have Sunday left!
