Cat Camp NYC: A Celebration of Our Love for Cats

Cat-Camp-NYC-2019

Of all the cat events I attend each year, Cat Camp NYC is one of my favorites. A weekend packed with educational lectures, round table discussions, lots of vendors offering fantastic cat-themed products and best of all, thousands of cat lovers who are not only there to celebrate their love for cats, but genuinely care about making all cats’ lives better – this is where loving cats intersects with advocating for cats, and it doesn’t get any better than that!

This year’s Jackson Galaxy’s Cat Camp will take place on June 1 and 2 at Penn Plaza Pavilion, located at 401 7th Ave, New York, NY 10001.

Speaker line up and program

At Cat Camp, you can:

  • Learn more about cats: Speakers and panelists will share their knowledge on topics ranging from learning about how to care for community cats, successfully foster cats, save orphan kittens, and so much  more.
  • Shop: There will be dozens of cat-focused vendors available.
  • Meet adoptable cats and maybe even find your newest family member!

The event will close with an inspirational keynote address from Jackson Galaxy.

I’m honored to be once again be one of the speakers in an incredible line up of personalities: Jackson Galaxy (My Cat from Hell and the Jackson Galaxy Foundation); cat behaviorist, Mikel Delgado (Feline Minds,) Hannah Shaw (Kitten Lady); Andrew Martilla (The Great Went Pet Photography,) Adam Myatt (aka The Cat Man of West Oakland,) Ellen Carozza, LVT, and many others.

I will be holding a Q&A session on Saturday from 11am to 12pm. I will also be part of two Camp Counselor sessions with Jackson Galaxy, Mikel Delgado and Beth Adelman Saturday and Sunday afternoon.

    Ms King
As a speaker at the event, perhaps you could suggest to those in charge that events might be streamed or downloaded after the event for a slightly reduced fee?
A win win for everyone creating additional revenue for the event and a way to share information with those of us who are out of state! Wish we could all browse the vendor’s booths. Perhaps a list could also be provided with website links too?

I got my tickets to the event for both days! Coming from Florida again this year! I can’t tell you what an awesome time I had and how much I learned. I’m a true feline enthusiast, started my own nonprofit and maybe next year I’ll even be a part of it! Adopt a Grown Cat ❤️ Donna

I definitely will! I’m so happy with my new cat pillow – at a glance it looks like a real cat – my Pepper!
