Mews and Nips: Small Town Hires Cat Chief to Care for Strays


In the small town of Zelenogradsk, Russia, life just got a little easier for stray cats. The town appointed a Cat Chief to care for the community’s strays. Svetlana Logunova beat out 80 applicants to land the job. She can be seen riding around town in a snazzy green jacket and hat. For more about this dream job, visit MetroUK or watch our video below.

    I think it’s impressive that the town acknowledges the cats and their needs and has appointed someone to do this job.
