Pain Management for Cats Just Got Easier. Coming Soon: The Assisi Loop Lounge™

Over the past couple of years, you’ve seen me feature reports on how the Assisi Loop has helped cats with anything from arthritis to post-surgical recovery to dealing with chronic inflammatory conditions such as stomatitis or urinary tract issues. Later this month, Assisi Animal Health will introduce a revolutionary new way to deliver the same trusted pain control of the Loop via targeted pulsed electromagnetic field therapy (tPEMF™): The Assisi Loop Lounge™.

What is targeted pulsed electromagnetic field therapy?

tPEMF, which was first studied in the 1970s and is FDA-cleared for use in humans, uses low-level pulses of electromagnetic energy to stimulate the body’s own healing mechanisms to help relieve pain and swelling.

Assisi Animal Health is proud to have created a technology that works especially well on feline ailments, especially when other treatments can fail. The Assisi Loop is especially helpful for cats because it is a non-pharmaceutical, non-invasive treatment. Cats tolerate it much better than many medications. Not only that, but a lot of cats really enjoy receiving Loop treatments. Because the Loop stimulates the body’s own healing process, rather than introducing a new substance (like a medication), even a sensitive cat body can handle it easily.

The Assisi Loop Lounge™

The Assisi Loop Lounge™ makes delivering reliable pain control even easier, especially for cats who might not be receptive to having the Loop placed on or near them. The technology of the Loop is now available in the Loop Lounge™.

The Loop Lounge has been designed for use with the Sleepypod Air and Atom carriers. The Assisi Loop Lounge covers the entire bottom of the carrier, providing a complete care base. With the depth and height of the field, the cat will receive a complete body treatment up to 10 inches away from the pad.

Sleepypod carriers are the best and safest carriers on the market. All of their carriers are crash tested and certified with the Center for Pet Safety.

The Loop Lounge can be used as a stand-alone device, or in a different pet bed or carrier, but they cannot contain any metal components (e.g. door, frame, or floor) that could disrupt the patented Loop signal and diminish product efficacy.

The Assisi Loop Lounge™ is rechargeable.

The Sleepypod powered by Assisi Loop Technology, and its Assisi Loop Lounge™ accessory, will be launched at American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP) Conference later this month, and will be ready for shipment late October. If you’re going to be at the conference, be sure to stop by the Assisi Animal Health booth to get a demonstration.

The Conscious Cat at the AAFP Conference

I’m delighted to announce that Assisi Animal Health will sponsor my attendance at the AAFP conference so I can bring you not only the latest information on this exciting new product, but also a wealth of new information on all sorts of feline health topics ranging from senior and geriatric care to emergency and critical care.

Thanks for keeping us updated about the Assisi Loop as it has gone through some improvements. Sounds like a good tool. My kitty isn’t there yet.

Yea, my Stardust did this herself – she was so smart. I’d lay it on her hip while she was laying down, and then eventually it would end up underneath her. I think she was trying to tell me where she needed it most. 😉 But yes zipping her in would have been helpful too, cuz sometimes she would walk off before the timer expired. I think this carrier/den is a fantastic idea!

This sounds amazing! I like that it would be rechargeable. I do love the Assisi Loop and have been using it on my cat Pumpkin with positive results.
Her weight has stabilized so far and she looks (fur is soft and shiny)and acts better..even jumping up and down on certain things that she hasn’t done in some time!!

Rechargeable?!? I’m thrilled that our missing loop reappeared before I bought a second one., that’s one downside to the current offerings

You have never said how much the Assisi Loop costs, and now there is no mention of the cost of the Lounge. Nor do you explain that, in the case of the Loop, it is effective for only so many sessions (minutes, hours, etc.)

The small Loop offers a minimum of 150 15 minute treatments, the large Loop offers a minimum of 100 15 minute treatments. You can find information about cost on the Assisi Animal Health website.

Wow, this sounds amazing! Boodie is always trying to crawl into my carriers, so she would probably benefit from something like this.
