Cats are masters at hiding pain. By the time a cat guardian recognizes that a cat is in pain, chronic pain may already have a considerable impact on the cat’s quality of life. This can be especially true when it comes to arthritis, a degenerative joint disease that affects as many as 3 in 10 cats. Only 7% of cats with arthritis receive treatment for this often debilitating condition.

While there are conventional pain medications that can help control feline pain, most come with considerable risk and negative side effects. The Assisi Loop provides safe and effective pain relief without adverse effects.

How does the Assisi Loop work?

The Assisi Loop features targeted pulsed electromagnetic field therapy (tPEMF™). This modality was first studied in the 1970s and is FDA-cleared for use in humans. It uses low-level pulses of electromagnetic energy to stimulate the body’s own healing mechanisms to help relieve pain and swelling. For a detailed explanation of the technology, please visit the Assisi Animal Health website.

Assisi Animal Health found that this technology works especially well on feline arthritis. It is a non-pharmaceutical, non-invasive treatment. Cats tolerate it much better than many medications. Not only that, but a lot of cats really enjoy receiving Loop treatments. Because the Loop stimulates the body’s own healing process, rather than introducing a new substance (like a medication), even a sensitive cat body can handle it easily.

Proven science with positive results

A two-year double blind clinical trial on dogs recovering from spinal surgery at NC State College of Veterinary Medicine showed that the Loop not only reduces pain, but also helps the injured nerve tissue recover faster. This enables the pet to return more quickly to normal function.”

The Loop’s most famous feline customer

Lil BUB was born with several genetic mutations, including a shorter lower jaw and no teeth. She also has dwarfism, which means she will stay kitten-sized for her entire life, and she is the only cat in recorded history born with a rare bone condition called “osteopetrosis”. When BUB began to lose mobility and soon was hardly able to walk, her “dude,” Mike Bridavsky, was worried that she might have to be euthanized. Mike heard about the Loop from a fan, and was shocked by the improvement in BUB after he began using it for only a few months. Mike has been using the Loop for five years, and BUB continues to get two treatments a day. Watch the video below for more on BUB’s remarkable recovery:

I was fortunate to win an Assist Loop and it is amazing. It has helped my cat so much. My Vet was skeptical but is now impressed at how great my cat Pumpkin looks and how her tests have been. Pumpkin has Lymphoma, IBD and early stages of Kidney Disease. I will always have the Assisi Loop in my home!

MY cat has a puffy lip and sometimes cannot eat because of the pain. The vet has done as much as she can for this issue. Pain meds are too expensive. I would love this to help my cat when she is in pain. Thank you for offering this,

My cat injured her leg as a kitten — a soft tissue injury the vet said — and since then she has relapses about twice a year. I try to keep her healthy with acupuncture, so maybe the two together would increase the times between her relapses.

My 14-year-old Sophie has arthritis and feline idiopathic cystitis. The Assisi Loop would complement the acupuncture treatments she receives.

I’d love to win the loop and share it with our dear 10 year old Tuxie cat Sabrina who has shown some slowing, and our 12 year old Maltese, Archie. He’s a puppy mill survivor who had endured abuse for
several years before he was rescued and we adopted, in a very small cage. He now has arthritic issues, especially his hind legs. His front legs are bowed slightly due to the cramped cage he lived in so long.

I would love to win the loop for my 6 cats, the oldest of whom is 11, and is definitely beginning to show symptoms of hip pain. The next 2 are 9 year old sisters who, I’m sure, will have need of it sooner than later.
