Today is the first day of Cat Camp NYC, and I can’t wait! Today and tomorrow will be packed with educational lectures, roundtable discussions, lots of vendors offering fantastic cat-themed products and best of all, thousands of cat lovers who care about making all cats’ lives better – it doesn’t get any better than that! Jackson Galaxy’s Cat Camp will take place at Penn Plaza Pavilion, located at 401 7th Ave, New York, NY 10001. I’ll be hosting a Q&A session today at 11am, and I’ll be at the event all weekend. If you’re going, make sure you say hi! Visit Cat Camp NYC for more information.

If you missed any of the stories featured on the Conscious Cat this week, here’s a recap: on Monday, Dr. Lynn Bahr answered reader questions, on Tuesday, we explained why we had to get a second Jackson Galaxy Donut Bed, on Wednesday, we told you all about polydactyl cats, and on Friday we reviewed the first in a series of short stories by Gwen Cooper’s, I Choo-Choo-Choose You. And don’t forget to enter our giveaway for a Kritter Kondo outdoor enclosure!

Are you planning to do a little gardening this weekend? Remember, cats make the best helpers!

  1. Terrific to meet you at Cat Camp on Saturday! Hope you enjoyed the rest of your weekend, and I hope that Ruby and Allegra didn’t miss you too much!

  2. have a blast! Oh how I wish I were there! (Maybe next year) our cousin is getting married in Palm Springs today and we were supposed to be there but ended up not being able to go, that is why Cat Camp wasn’t on my list this year, but I am sooo hoping to get there next year!
