A scrawny tortie and her seven kittens were taken into Providence Animal Center in Media, PA. The tortie mom was skin and bones and had an upper respiratory infection, but when an experienced foster mom took in Macadamia and her kittens, the little family thrived. Soon after they were put up for adoption, all seven kittens were adopted out to good homes. It took an extra couple of weeks for Macadamia to find her forever home, but she was adopted just in time for the holidays. For more wonderful photos of mom and kittens, visit
