38 Comments on Giveaway: Original Cat Painting by Adriana Gasperi

  1. I lost my beloved Tortie Hildy in March. She took much of my heart with her. She loved to hide in a bright quilt. This so reminds me of me her chirping ” hello” whenever I would find her there.

  2. It’s so beautiful. It reminds me of a furbaby I lost a little more than a year ago. I have just the place for it to hang. Thanks for the giveaway!

  3. There’re two things I collect, cat related books and pieces of cat art, it would be wonderful to add this piece to my collection. Good luck everyone and Happy Holidays 🙂

  4. This painting is a great piece of artwork and id be honored to hang it behind my sofa to add to my cat collection. But this would be the best hanging there.

  5. I love this painting! My first cat was a Calico Cat and her name was Calico. Would love to win the painiing, I have a special place in my house for it.

  6. I love this!
The colors are gorgeous. I really like how the eye is slightly closed in bliss as just the right spot is scratched.

  7. Somehow I missed your original interview and I’m so glad I saw it today. Her paintings are gorgeous and I would love to have one at my house.

  8. This is a gorgeous painting. The bright colors and calico cat rally make it stand out. I have the perfect place for it on my wall too. I would love it in honor of the little girl, Kali, I helped nurse back to health in a cat rescue only for her to give up on us early one morning. i will never forget it. my friend called about 5 in the morning saying she thinks we are losing her and I rushed over and we took her to the emergency vet in Dallas. She had to pull the car over and do CPR to her a couple times. In the end, we came home with her in a tiny box that I held on my lap.

  9. This gorgeous painting really grabs me because the bold colors remind me of a favorite artist of mine, Itzchak Tarkey. His work is so pretty. Do look him up and tell me if you agree that Adriana Gasperi’s work is similar. In addition, I have a calico cat with a chimera face – half orange and half black. Her bold colors are stunning. I would be thrilled to be the winner of this beautiful painting.

  10. I adore this painting, especially the vibrant colors. As a crazy cat girl I’d love this on my wall. When I worked at the shelter calicos had a reputation for having quite an attitude, much like their own version if tortitude. I liked to think of them as difficult divas. Once you break through their shell they are wonderful.

    • Hi Raine! Thanks for your comments on my paintings. Good luck! I agree with you, my calico is a divine diva, she is one of our 11 cats and is the only one who greets people at the door, flirts… is adorable!

  11. I had a very unique Calico cat, which I met during an unusual circumstance. When I eventually put her in my car, she sat on my lap as I was driving and she rode with me on my lap for the next 14 years.

  12. I love Andrea’s whimsical and beautiful artwork which show her love for these special animals! I’d be honored to win one of her creations!
