British fashion designer Stella McCartney, the daughter of former Beatle Paul MCartney and American musician, photographer and animal activist Linda McCartney, has launched a new fall line that has gone to the cats!

The line features cat-portrait tapestry fabrics on skirts, dresses, a tailored coat, a ’70s-style football-jumper, a blouse and a silk dress. There are also plenty of animal patterned accessories and even a cat carrier. The designer is clearly having fun with these designs, and even uses the hashtag #StellaMcCatney on her social media channels.

Following her parents’ example (Paul McCartney became a vegetarian in 1975, when he began his animal advocacy with his first wife Linda,) Stella McCartney is the world’s first and only vegetarian luxury brand. The company thinks that no animal should give its life for the sake of fashion. They don’t use and have never used leather, skins, feathers or fur in any of their products

So, how about a cat tapestry coat? And you have to admit, the jumpsuit will make you stand out anywhere you go!

I adore the look on the left, and I would also wear that dress in a heartbeat.

How adorable are these accessories!

10 Comments on Stella McCartney’s Fall Collection Goes Wild for Cats

  1. I already loved Stella and now I love her even more! These are great, sophisticated and classy…..doesn’t scream cats………the cats are more artistic. No surprise because she is amazing. Those shoes have MY name all over them! lol

  2. Ingrid, Stella’s things are very beautiful but way too expensive! Thanks for sharing this gorgeous collection though! ♥♥♥

  3. Thanks for posting this Ingrid. About a week ago I received the Fall 2016 Neiman Marcus catalog with the Jacket featured; but it’s $1,800! The price of my cats surgery!! Too bad but maybe now that she has rolled out this theme/look others will copy and sell similar items for a much lower price.

  4. Beautiful fashion/accessory animal print line! But…. the cost! Glad it is free to look! Nice to see a designer not using animal skins for fashion.
