I know we all wonder from time to time what our cats are thinking. No matter how well-versed we are in feline body language and no matter how talkative they may be, there always seems to be a part of them that they keep to themselves. In Letters from Cats: Hilarious and Heartfelt Notes, Stacey Ritz imagines what cats might tell us if they were to write us letters.

The letters in this book are at times charmingly funny, at other times heartbreakingly sad. From “Yes, I ate that,” in which a cat is very pleased with herself for having just eaten an unattended turkey sandwich to “Don’t forget about me,” in which a senior cat wonders why her family abandoned her in a cage at a shelter, this book will alternately bring smiles and tears, sometimes at the same time.

    • Fur Everywhere: Thank you so much for the work you do at your local animal shelter and for your comment. I have a special place in my heart for senior cats, too. πŸ™‚ There are many letters in this book advocating for the adoption of rescue/shelter animals…there are also a lot of letters that will make you smile!

  7. This book sounds really cute. I can just hear my cat Miss Kiki saying, yes I ate that. That little girl eats everything she isn’t supposed to. Just the other day I caught her playing with something. It turned out to be a rubber band, only half of it. I’m sure the other half went in the tummy. She learned where I keep them and actually opens the drawer to pull them and trash bag twistie ties out to play with. She’s a stinker.

    • Hi Janine: Thank you so much for your comment! Miss Kiki sounds like she loves to play! πŸ™‚

  8. If I had a nickel for every time I wondered what was going through little furry guy’s head, I’d be a wealthy man. This should be a good read.

    • Hi Sue: Thank you for your kind words! Glad to hear you love the cover of the book, too πŸ™‚ If you’ve ever wondered what your cats are thinking…you’ll find it all in this book!

  9. Lovely! And how about learning animal telepathic communication to get information straight from your cat?

    • Hi Maria! Thank you so much for your comment…our cats have so many interesting things to teach us! πŸ™‚
