Thomas Vles, the founder and CEO of Dutch pet product company Poopy Cat, wins a prize for creativity not only for naming his business (although I can’t quite decide whether that’s really a great business name) and for promoting it. Vles constructed a feline-friendly “bicycle” and took two of his cats on a 300 mile ride from Amsterdam to London. Poopy Cat makes modular play structures for cats. It is not known at this time whether the company will mass-produce the cat mobile. For the full story and a video of the cats in their catcycle, visit The Telegraph.
If you missed any of the stories featured on The Conscious Cat this week, here’s a recap: on Monday, we told you how to recognize and treat arthritis in your cat, on Tuesday, we reviewed the PawPack subcription box, on Wednesday, we introduced you to some cozy cat beds for cats who are cavers, on Thursday, we shared information about intestinal parasites in cats, featured a new documentary about Cat Island in Japan, and provided information on how you can help the animals affected by the earthquake in Nepal, and on Friday, we reviewed Purr Prints of the Heart by Deborah Barnes.
The kitten in today’s video really wants what’s in that glass (the video’s title says it’s milk, but it sure doesn’t look like milk to me!)
Have a great weekend!
