Review: Stylish Printable Pet Planner

Keeping your cats’ records organized can be essential for everyone’s health and safety, whether it’s for travel, medical emergencies, natural disasters, or simply keeping track of important dates. Allegra and Ruby each have a file folder, but to access anything, I have to flip through a lot of papers. When Stylish Printable Planners approached me about reviewing their pet planners, I was intrigued.

Planners are one of the best tools I know of to stay organized. There’s something about seeing information in an easily accessible format that just helps us stay on track. And I confess, it’s one of the reasons why I still resist the use of my iPhone calendar: I like to see my whole week at a glance, in detail, in my paper calendar. Sometimes, recording information the old-fashioned way, with pen or pencil on paper, seems to keep things clear and simple. And it’s quite possible that our brains are wired to connect writing something down with taking action. Additionally, checking off an item on an electronic to do list isn’t nearly as satisfying as crossing it off your list with a pen.

Stylish Printable Pet Planners come in 3 different, very pretty designs. On 17 pages, you can capture your cat’s basic information, detailed health records including vet visits, vaccinations, parasite prevention, medications, and diet. There’s a section to track pet care expenses. I particularly liked the section that allows you to organize instructions for your pet sitter, which includes separate sections for notes about play, behavior, food and “output,” and more. The guide also includes a blank page for notes that compliments the design.

Since you can print the guide as many times as you like, this guide will never become outdated. And if you prefer using your computer to writing by hand, you can use a pdf editor to modify the file.

The planners are available for instant download from the Stylish Printable Planners Etsy shop. You can find more information about the planners on their website as well.

FTC Disclosure: I received this product for review at no charge. I also received a fee for writing this review. Receiving the free product and the fee did not influence my review. All reviews on The Conscious Cat will always reflect my honest and unbiased opinion. Or, as the case may be, Allegra and Ruby’s honest and unbiased opinion.

My human really should have something like this – you should see the huge file she has on the other cats! (Mine is still pretty small.)
