The Neko Flies interactive cat toys are a perennial favorite at our house. When we heard that Nekochan Enterprises, the makers of Neko Flies, launched a new line of cat beds, we couldn’t wait to get our paws on one. We were sent the Neko Napper for review, and Allegra and Ruby were up to the challenge!

This adorable little hideaway is made from supersoft, plush, curdoroy covered cushions. The house comes in three easily assembled pieces (the roof attaches to the base of the house with zippers and velcro,) making it easy to fold away for storage or travel. The sleeping pad is machine washable. At 16.5” x 18” x 16.5,” this house is a nice size even for larger cats.

But the true test of any cat bed or cat house is, of course, whether your cats will love it.

Allegra and Ruby were very intrigued with the Neko Napper and came to check it out as soon as I put it together, which took less than 30 seconds. Ruby was the first to go inside, and after thoroughly sniffing her way around, she immediately curled up in the bed.

The house is pretty sturdy, although the roof did “cave” a little when Ruby jumped on it, but the house didn’t come apart or collapse. If Allegra’s expression in the photo below is anything to go by, she’s telling Ruby that “napper means you’re supposed to sleep in it, not jump on it!”

I haven’t seen Allegra in the Neko Napper since we got it, but Ruby loves it. In fact, she loves it a little too much for my taste: the first night we had it up, she spent most of the night sleeping in the Neko Napper instead of in my bed with me! If that’s not a four paws up endorsement, I don’t know what is!

9 Comments on Review: Neko Napper Pet House

  1. Considering how many “kitties” we have here this would certainly be a welcomed addition. Especially for the 20 year old!

  2. This house is unique. I haven’t seen anything like it. Two of my babies would love it. They would be in it when they weren’t laying near me. Thanks for sharing!
