Michelle Wolff paints stunning custom portraits of pets and wild animals. She became fascinated by the challenge of capturing the essence of an animal through charcoal, graphite, pastel and some home made watercolors, which she makes from coffee, tea and onion skins. Eyes are her absolute favorite. She spends a lot of time  trying to tune in and really grasp the emotional tone of the subject.

In addition to her custom work, Michelle also offers prints of 11 different cat images, including the ones shown here. The prints are available in a variety of options, both framed and  unframed.

Michelle has offered up one print (the Art Print version in any size below 14×16 inches) – winner gets to choose the print and size.

  1. They are all beautiful, but if I were to win a print, I would choose “Tiger, Tiger.” The expression is perfect and the colors alive.

    I shared on Facebook.

  2. I LOVE Blue Like Cats because there is just something quite powerful between the pose and the beautiful movement in the strokes.

  3. I love them all too, but especially Big Kitten, looks like my Mario, who I’ll be getting on March 9th from North Carolina! I, also, love Blue Eyes!

  4. Beautiful artwork. “Sun Sleeping” would be perfect in my home since kitty does this at least 50% of the day. 🙂

  5. Jungle Kitty – That’s the nickname we use for our cat sometimes. All of the prints are beautiful, though.

  6. All of Michele Wolf’s work is beautiful. It’s a hard choice, but I think my favorite is Lioness Single Eye.
