Giveaway: BOB Pet Bowl from Pet Pet Studios

NomBob2

The ergonomically designed and environmentally friendly BOB Pet Bowl from Pet Pet Studios is more than just another pretty pet bowl.

These combination food and water bowls are made from food-grade Polypropylene, a material that is highly resistant to acids, chemicals and heat. It is the very same material that food containers and bottles that we eat and drink from is made of. The bowls are BPA free, and they’re recyclable.

The bowls are slightly raised, which makes for a more comfortable eating experience for cats. Elevated bowls can be especially helpful for senior cats with arthritis. They allow the cat to eat standing up, rather than crouching with already painful joints. Elevated dishes can also aid with proper digestion.

Another clever design feature is that the water bowl of the BOB Pet Bowl acts like a moat around the food bowl, keeping away ants, which makes this bowl a great choice for feeding outdoor cats.

This would be purrfect for my seniors! Maxxy is 21 yrs old and Hemi is 17yrs old (the oldest of my 4 kitties). To make it more comfy for them to eat & drink I have their plates/bowls on upside plastic containers 🙂

I like confident blue. This would be great for our long legged cat, Yoshi. He will jump on top of the dogs’ tall feeder to drink and its 19 inches tall.

This is a nice bowl. I’m sure that my 2 furbabies would really like this bowl. I’d like one in blue or the yellow so that they don’t clash with the colors in my kitchen.

This sparked my interest….oddly enough, 1 of my cats like to drink while stepping on the bowl…balancing her front paws on top (hard to picture, I know !) ..thereby sometimes tipping the bowl over. This looks extremely steady and very cool.

Love you suggestion about using this for feeding outdoor cats, excellent idea. My neighbor cares for many senior cats in addition to your feral colony so she would be the beneficiary of this great design – I think she would find the orange a fun color. Thank you for the giveaway!

I love this for our second water dish upstairs. I have two cats and one loves to drink right next to his food dish but my other one loves the water completely separated. It’s always good to have additional water dishes out in different areas of the home. Also like the added height as my senior girl has bad arthritis and so I love elevated dishes. We prefer the blue one 🙂

    Hi Ingrid,
pretty as these bowls might seem, they are not good news for cats. Cats do not like their food and drink to be in the same place, as this is not according to their natural behavior. Lots of indoor cats drink from taps, sinks, toilets and other places and when they do, they usually have their water bowl next to their food. As it is life saving for cats to drink enough water, I always recommend my clients to put at least 1,5 m between food and water. In that case cats drink up to 30% more (research based evidence).
I am a certified cat behaviorist from the Netherlands and I hope I have added some useful information to this item.
