Allegra and Ruby: the more scratchers, the better

Ruby on X-Tetra Scratcher

I don’t know whether Allegra and Ruby hold the record for most scratchers owned by two cats, but we must be close. It’s getting pretty crowded in our kitty playroom! Our latest addition is the X-Tetra Scratch Lounge and the Karma Scratch Log from Karma Products.

The X-Tetra Scratch Lounge is a unique design. The girls seem to like it more as a kitty jungle gym than a scratcher. They love chasing each other around it and jumping up and down on it. Allegra demonstrates how to stalk:

However, the Karma Scratch Log is getting a lot of use as a scratcher. This by-product of the X-Tetra Lounge is a nice, sturdy floor scratcher. Allegra shows off her famous scratching technique (with a little help from Ruby – well, sort of) in the video below:

All Karma Products are made from durable corrugated cardboard using non-toxic water soluable adhesives, and should hold up well to even rigorous use. Karma Products is offering a free Scratch Log with every purchase of an X-Tetra Scratch Lounge.

Don’t forget to enter our giveaway for the Infinity Cat Scratch Lounge, another one of Karma Products’ scratchers!

We received the X-Tetra Scratch Lounge and Karma Scratch Log from the manufacturer. Receiving the free product did not influence this review.

Looks like fun! Allie LOVES scratchers, as does Maxwell. Faraday prefers the lounger. We’re trying to train him to use a scratcher, to no success so far…*sigh*

There’s always one in the bunch, isn’t there? 😉 Does Faraday have a scratch lounger? Maybe the combo would do the trick. Make sure he enters our giveaway!

I still have a Scratchie from when Luxy was a youg kitten and I had just gotten her. I feel bad that I’d I throw it out she might miss it ..so I keep it even though I don’t have the space. 🙂

I still have the scratchers that Feebee used more than twenty years ago, Diana. I don’t have the heart to throw them out, and Allegra and Ruby do use them occasionally.
