2012 Petties Best Cat Blog

Allegra, Ruby and I are excited and happy to announce that The Conscious Cat won the 2012 Pettie for Best Cat Blog! And we’re even more excited that this award comes with a $1000 prize, which will go to Kitten Associates, a Connecticut based private rescue group founded by fellow Pettie nominee Robin Olson of Covered in Cat Hair.

Thank you again to all of you who read this blog every day, and who voted tirelessly to help us win this award. This award belongs to all of you!

Congratulations to the other winners, especially our friends Deb Barnes of Zee&Zoey, Joanne McGonagle of The Tiniest Tiger, and Lorie Huston of Pet Health Care Gazette.

  1. Congratulations dear Ingrid. From me and all the family, too many to list by name but all very sincere. The seven latest rescued kittens are now tame, the medicine needed was LOVE and PATIENCE.

Love to you from all of us.

  2. Many, many congratulations Ingrid for this award! BTW, I just purchased the Kindle edition of “Purrs of Wisdom” and look forward to reading it over the weekend!

Thank you again for your devotion, passion, and dedication to improving the welfare of cats everywhere!

You are much loved and appreciated,
    Nancy

  3. How fantastic! It’s wonderful to see you receiving the recognition you deserve. The Universe is giving you a pat on the back…

  4. Many congratulations, Ingrid, I read your blog daily – Sasha cat enjoys the adventures of your lovely Ruby and Allegra, and I find the articles by you and you guests very helpful. Well deserved! Vicki

  5. Congratulations on winning the reward. I’m so glad that you’re donating the money to Robin at Kitten Associates (She was a great help on getting my two cats from her sister agency- Animals in Distress). She’s had a bit of a rough patch with health problems with some of the cats in her care.
