Dogtime Media’s 2012 Pettie Awards recognize the best among pet bloggers each year. The Conscious Cat won the 2011 Pettie for Best Overall Pet Blog, and Allegra, Ruby and I would love it if you would help us repeat this honor again this year.

Nominations for the 2012 Petties are now open! And not only can you help us win a Pettie, but you can help your favorite shelter or rescue group win $10,000 in the 2012 Pre-Petties $10,000 Donation Contest!

Nominating is easy! Simply visit the Petties Nominations Center once a day between now and June 29, and nominate The Conscious Cat for Best Cat Blog and Best Overall Pet Blog (and any other categories you’d like to nominate us for!). Nominate your favorite shelter or rescue group at the same time (must be a non-profit 501c3).

Shelter Nomination for $10K Pre-Petties Donation Contest: enter the name of your favorite shelter or rescue group (must be a non-profit 501C3)

You can nominate once a day, every day, through June 29! 

The winning shelter will be announced the week of July 9. Voting for the nominated blogs will begin on July 5. The winners will be announced during an online ceremony in September.

The winning bloggers will receive a beautiful statue and a $1000 donation to a shelter or rescue group of their choice. My 2011 Pettie is sitting right next to me on my desk as I write this. It provides inspiration every day for me to continue to strive to bring you the best in cat blogging every single day.
