Nature's Logic on The Conscious CatNature's Logic feline products

I am very careful when it comes to recommending food for your cats. Unless I either have personal experience with a diet, or have thoroughly researched one, I’m not comfortable making recommendations. I like what I feed Allegra and Ruby, and I won’t use them as product testers for testing diets or treats whose claims I can’t verify. However, I can take a close look at diets I haven’t tried and evaluate them based on my criteria for what constitutes a species-appropriate diet for cats.

My first criteria is always that a feline diet must be completely grain-free, and it must be canned or raw. Nature’s Logic’s canned and raw products meet that requirement. All the nutrients in their formulas are said to come from whole foods or 100% natural ingredients. Whole foods provide cats with an abundance of naturally-occurring nutrients: proteins, vitamins, minerals, fiber, probiotics, enzymes, antioxidants, co-factors, phytonutrients, and more.

The company says their foods do not contain chemically-synthesized vitamins, minerals or other trace nutrients routinely added to other pet food. This ensures that your cat is not exposed to the potential toxicities associated with these man-made substances. Nature’s Logic canned cat food is made from nutrient-dense muscle and organ meat. Vitamins and minerals are derived from concentrates of select fruits and vegetables, highly-digestible natural eggshell calcium, and animal plasma. The grain-free formula contains no gluten, wheat, corn, rice, soy, or potatoes.

Here’s your chance to try Nature’s Logic 100% natural raw or canned cat food for your cat AND donate 2 cases of Nature’s Logic food to your favorite shelter or rescue group. The winner will receive vouchers for the food of their choice. The two cases of canned cat food will be sent directly to the shelter chosen by the winner.

  1. My kitties are big fans of Nature’s Logic Raw Rabbit. Since several of them are alumni of Purrfect Pals (Arlington, WA), that’s where they’d like to donate the cases of canned food.

  2. If I win I would like to try the Nature’s Logic Chicken Dry kibble for Montana. I would like to donate two cases of canned food to our local shelter, DD Pitchford Companion Animal Village & Education Center, 7700 East Spring Street, Long Beach, CA 90815.

  3. Duck & Salmon cans, cases to TNR They don’t have a shelter because they don’t have the capital to build. They are out almost every weekend at Petco or PetSupermarket adopting stray cats or feral kittens, and we have a community of 300,000 strays.

  4. My kitties would be happy to sample the canned chicken, since this brand of food is not sold in the local natural pet food stores. The Feline Foundation of Greater Washington would be thrilled to receive a donation of 2 cases of food.

  5. None. Why? Because I have a private cat sanctuary with 40 cats and the prize would feed only a small portion of them for less than one day. Nice idea though.

  6. WOW…I’d LOVE to WIN the canned feline food (duck/salmon) for my 3-kitties. Also, would like my favorite shelter “Cat House on the Kings” to win as well. Here is their information:
    Phone 1 559.638.8696

The Cat House on the Kings
The Cat House on the Kings – California’s largest no-cage, no-kill lifetime cat sanctuary and adoption center

  7. My cats eat raw, so it would be great to try another brand of raw to add to their rotation! It looks like the raw rabbit is sourced from the USA so we’d love to try that. If it’s not then the raw chicken would be our second choice. This is the rescue I’d like to donate the cans to:
