Giveaway: Morrocco Method 5 Elements Volcanic Dry Powder Cat Shampoo Prize Pack

morrocco-method-cat-shampoo

Cats are fastidious groomers, and can usually take care of keeping themselves clean without human intervention. Their sandpaper tongue is perfectly equipped to take care of their cleaning and grooming needs. But every once in a while, you may find yourself in a situation where your cat needs a bath: perhaps she got into something sticky, dirty or smelly, or worse, into something that would harm her if she licked herself clean. If you have to bathe your cats, make sure you use shampoos and other grooming products made for cats. Human products are much too harsh for sensitive feline skins.

Since we also know that most cats don’t care for baths, dry shampoos formulated for cats can be a good solution to deal with the occasional “bathing” need. Morrocco Method, well known for its natural hair care products for humans, is introducing its new 5 Elements Volcanic Dry Powder Cat Shampoo.

About Morrocco Method 5 Elements Volcanic Dry Powder Shampoo

The shampoo combines clays, minerals and botanicals from around the world to gently absorb excess oils and toxins, giving the coat a natural glow without dusty residue. According to Morrocco Method, its formulation actually assists in repelling fleas and ticks while reversing chemical damage caused by synthetic pet shampoos. The product’s main ingredient, bentonite clay, is a naturally forming volcanic powder that draws out impurities from the roots and follicles while also protecting the skin’s natural oils. Amla fruit powder, soothing oat and rosemary deliver essential vitamins and anti-oxidants to seal in moisture, reduce inflammation of the skin and leave fur soft and manageable.

I like that it states it helps repel fleas and also works to alleviate skin conditions. We have a cat who is very sensitive and often itchy.

What a great idea for baths for cats. This would be a great thing to have around especially since Princess is getting older.

A good dry shampoo would be very handy to have around because I have a longhaired kitten who usually keeps herself very clean, but, being adventuresome, does get into some sticky messes on occasion.

Bath time can be so stressful with my two furbabies. My littles cat is not the best at staying clean because she gets into everything. I think the dry shampoo would make bathtime less stressfull on my furbabies and me.

My cat Leonardo has a huge fluffy coat of fur. His tail looks like something that would be attached to some sort of giant animal. Inside his huge coat he is in fact very slim and toned. Alas, he was torn from his mother at a young age and frankly when we saw her (in a trailer park snagging dog food when she could) I’m not sure that she was up to setting the most sterling parental example of feline hygiene. The long and short of it is that Leonardo doesn’t really groom himself very much. I am interested in any products that can help me with him. He gets the furniture really dirty for one thing.

As with many of us, my kitties are getting up there in years (11 and 14 this year for my oldest 2!) so I’d love to win this for them in case they need a little extra help cleaning up — even though they both love water I’ve never tried to bathe them and am afraid they might hate the water if I did 🙂

This is a great product. I’ve tried waterless shampoos but my guys still don’t like the pump or spray. My senior Lillia is getting arthritic and this would be a perfect-stress free way to keep her clean.

This is a fantastic idea. I have one cat that could really benefit from this. He has a spot near his tail on his back that he has some trouble cleaning. This would solve that problem! I think all 3 of my cats would benefit from this great product. I would love to win this!

I need this for when we go to the vet. It never fails – someone messes themselves on the way there. Last visit I had to buy a bottle of shampoo and spot-bathed with wet paper towels. It was a mess. This would have been a better choice.

I’d love to try this for my 19 year old cat, Holly. She is arthritic and cannot groom herself as well as she used to. I also give her homemade chicken broth to keep her hydrated and it make the fur on her chest a bit oily. I think the powder would help, thank you!

Piper is an indoor/outdoor cat (mainly indoors) but I do have to give her a bath at least once a year. She is also getting up there in years and sometimes misses a few spots after she uses the litter box. I think this would be a great alternative to giving her a traditional bath. She doesn’t like the sound of running bath water.

How timely is this? I have never bathed either of my cats, and last night I was sitting next to Cody and was thinking that I thought he smelled a little bit and was sitting there wondering about a bath. I love that this is dry shampoo, would love to try it, thanks for the opportunity!

While most cats are good at cleaning themselves, my old girl, Moko, has been getting a little lax on that. I have given her a couple of baths, but she hates getting wet. Something like this would be great to use for her.
