Review and Giveaway: SwiPets Pet Hair Removal Product

SwiPets_pet_hair_remover

I’m always a little skeptical when I hear claims like “world’s best product.” But sometimes, a product really does live up to its claim, and the SwiPets Pet Hair Removal Product is one of those products.

This clever product is nothing more sophisticated than a glove. You can’t get much simpler than that, right? The glove is made from a blend of spandex and nylon, coated with what the company calls a “high tech coating” said to effortlessly remove pet hair from furniture, clothing and hard to reach places with a simple swipe of your hand.

And boy, does it work! I used it on the girls’ window perches and on one spot on my sofa that is a frequent sleeping spot for Allegra. The girls don’t shed all that much (feeding a grain-free raw or canned diet will reduce shedding to almost nothing for most cats), so those areas weren’t really that great a test spot, but the glove took the hair up easily and completely.

For a better test, I decided to try the glove on what I consider one of the banes of my existence when it comes to cleaning: the crevices where carpet meets baseboard. My house has decades-old off-white carpeting, and no amount of vacuuming, even with an attachment, seems to get the tortie-colored cat  hair out of those pesky nooks and crannies. Much to my amazement, a few swipes with one finger in the SwiPets glove did what nothing else had ever been able to accomplish: no more cat hair along the baseboards!

I give this innovative product two gloved thumbs up!

Everyone seems to have 4 cats, myself as well. My new Maine Coon sits on the top back of my fabric computer chair and on it.. I have furballs all over the top that I have to pull off every day. I need this product, HELP.

I would love this! I have four cats – three are black. Getting the hair out of the carpet where it meets the wall is, indeed, the hardest. I get as much as I can with the vacuum. They have a hammocks right next to the sliding glass door in my living room and I finally got on my hands and knees and brushed as much hair as I could out of that corner of the carpet and am sure I got enough hair to make another black cat!

This product looks promising! Basically, anywhere humans sit in our apartment, kitty also sits (and sleeps).

My top blanket and my curtains would be the first places I’d use it. My boys are big wooly bears so we have a lot of fur.

I have a chair that is covered in a coarse woven fabric. Cat hair gets stuck in the weave and is impossible to get out! I’d love to see if this works.

Wow, this looks to be beyond belief. The place I could use this the most? Lets see….nope, not there, here?, no/ nope, nope.

There is not a single space in my house, car or office I can think of that I couldn’t use these! Ok, maybe the ceiling at work, but with my babies and foster babies, I have a lot o fur!

I would use this mostly on my bedspread and blankets that Pricness and Queenie sleep on. They are both fuzzballs and this glove would be wonderful to pick up all of that hair. 🙂

I would LOVE to win this product. I have a cat, Izzy, who has the thickest longest fur of any cat I’ve ever had. I would use it everywhere because that’s where his hair resides. This is the most difficult fur I’ve ever dealt with, very fine and lightweight, and it imbeds itself into fabrics and is nearly impossible to get out. Believe me, I’ve tried lots of different products. I’m embarrassed because I’m constantly covered in cat hair no matter how often I use a lint roller. Even though I’m feeding Izzy a mixed grain-free canned and raw diet, he still sheds everywhere. Help!!

Honestly, with a dozen cats, where DON’T I need this product!!!????
Probably the couch cushions, the pillows and crevices between the cushions, would be best places to start….then I would probably have it on my hand all day long as I go about the house cleaning and straightening up after all my furrballs!

My 12 kitties and I would be delighted to win SwiPets gloves as it would give me more time to play with the kitties instead of having to wash the baby blankets covering their 13 beds and nine kitty condo/tree houses. Time spent also includes making sure I get all the cat hair out of the washer and dryer! It would also help conserve water and energy by not having to wash blankets as often.

Thank you from Tess, Siska, Maynard, Newbie, TC, GiGi, Gwennie, Boo, Diana, Cindy Lou, and Creature, foster kitty Susie Q — oh, and mom Margie!
