Special Oscar Sunday giveaway: The Tiniest Tiger hipster bag, filled with feline fun
On Wednesday, Allegra Ruby and I attended a celebrity-studded pre-Oscar Red Carpet Cat celebration coordinated by Gracey, The Tiniest Tiger, and her mom Joanne. This fantastic feline event featured everyone’s favorite cat celebrity, Cat Daddy Jackson Galaxy himself, our friend Kate from Moderncat, and about 300 cats and humans from around the world. As you can see in the photo above, the girls got their bling on and graciously posed for the paparazzi.
Gracey and her mom designed a fabulous Tiniest Tiger Hipster Bag and filled it with all sorts of goodies, including our beautiful Buckley’s Story bookmarks, a bottle of Spirit Essences Stress Stopper, lots of toys, temporary tattoos from Cattoo Designs, and products and coupons from many other sponsors. These bags were gifted to celebrities at the “real” event in Beverly Hills.
As one of the blogs participating in this Red Carpet Cat Blog Tour, we already received our hipster, and let me tell you, it is NICE! Several of these bags were given away during the Twitter party on Wednesday, but fear not, you still have a chance of winning one of these swag filled bags (a $242 value!) right here.
To enter the giveaway, leave a comment and either tell me your all time favorite movie and/or your favorite movie featuring a cat (and maybe they’re one and the same). For an additional chance to win, tweet about this giveaway or share on Facebook, and post the link in a separate comment. This giveaway ends Sunday, March 4.
The limited edition Tiniest Tiger Hipster Bag will be for sale soon. Sign up for The Tiniest Tiger Newsletter to be the first to be notified. A portion of proceeds from all sales will go to benefit global conservation projects.
Conscious Cat Sunday will return next week.

I’m really enjoying all your comments and learning about your favorite movies. Keep them coming!
P.S. My favorite movie is “The Secret of Roan Inish.”
LOVE this bag! I tried so hard to snag one at the Twitter party, but failed miserably!

‘Breakfast at Tiffanys’
Most heart wrenching scene with Audrey Hepburn and George Peppard as Holly Go Lightly and ‘Fred’ go looking for Cat out in the pouring rain and find him and there is that kiss. <3
My favorite kitty movie is…Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey…Sally Field was wonderful as the voice of Sassy!

Dead Poet’s Society..
My favorite movie featuring a cat is Homeward Bound.
I love the cat in “Meet the Parents” he was beautiful, graceful and a great actor
Milo and Otis!
One of my favorite movies when I was little – “That Darn Cat” Wow, now I feel really old!
OOOh! That looks fun!
I have to say…my most favorite movie (ever) is The Little Mermaid. First movie I ever saw in theaters.
May favorite movie ever… hard to say… My favorite cat movie! The Cat from Outer Space. A 1978 classic. I used to beg my mom to let me stay up & watch it whenever it was on TV as a kid!
One of my favorite movies and FAVORITE cat cameos is from the movie MAD HOUSE that stars Dan Akroyd and Kirstie Alley. It’s an 80′s flick about a couple (Dan & Kirstie) that host unwanted familial and neighborly guests.
Some guests bring Scruffy Banister the cat (they’re from out east so it’s pronounced “Scruffy-eeaa Banist-AAAA). The cat isn’t in every scene but makes occasional apperances as it’s destroying furniture, hissing, scratching, etc. It’s a devil cat.
Towards the end of the movie, Kirstie’s character comes to love Scruffy Banista.
For years my girlfriends & I would randomly yell, “Scruffy Banistaaaaa!!!”
My favorite movie is The Lion king! I grew up watching it, and when it was in theaters my mister took me on a romantic date night to go ahead and see it. We brought home a mini poster, hung it up, and held our two girls up to see it. We told Two Face and Batman that they reminded us of Mufasa and Scar at times haha and that they’re just smaller versions of the lions in the film.
However, my favorite film featuring a cat would have to be Stephen King’s Cat’s Eye! It’s so thrilling! I love how General the cat was such a fantastic feline character! His journey to protect a young Drew Barrymore was so exciting to watch, I worried for him through most of the movie.
Another one would have to be Pet Semetary, because Chruch is both adorable and scary at the same time. He was the perfect felin villan!
My favorite movie with cats in The Aristocats
I even named my kitty after one- Thomas O’Malley
Let’s see, it must be Cinderella. Lucifer is a bit of a devilish creature, but I think all cats (and all humans) can identify with some part of that. Plus he was very expressive.
I love this prize…
a favorite movie is
The Cat from Outer Space..
the one with Ken Berry and Sandy Duncan
Xxxxx
hahaha, I promise, I did not copy you!!! What a great classic movie
My favorite cat movie is the Cat from Outerspace

Figaro is my favorite cat in a movie (Pinocchio). I fostered a cat last year that looked just like him!
I love this bag!! My favorite movie is The Aristocats, in spanish is just amazing! Also Breakfast at Tiffanys and soooooo many more!!

Favorite movie of all time? Both the Swedish and US adaptations of Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. I’ve heard that the Dewey book is to be adapted into a movie but it’s been years since any news has come out about this.

My favorite movie was Cats and Dogs. Then they came out with Cats and Dogs 2 and that was cute and funny as well! Kittys take over the world and then the Dogs try to stop us! lol

Favorite movie with cat: “The Ladykillers” with feline ‘Pickles’. Pickles is the silent observer of mayhem, and the shot of his ear twitching to reveal an unexpected visitors approach was brilliant.
I love the cat “Meatball” and the movie Anger Management!
I think my favorite movie with a cat in it would probably have to be Shrek 2. I LOVE Puss in Boots! He’s so cute and funny, and I’m really looking forward to seeing “his” movie. (Might be my new favorite cat movie!)
One of my favorite movies that I can watch over and over is The Empire Strikes Back. I know, total geek but I love it.
My favorite movie would probably be Lilo & Stitch (though How to Train Your Dragon comes a very close second). My favorite cat movie, however, is The Nine Lives of Thomasina. I haven’t seen that movie since I was a very little girl…
Who else but Garfield!!! Love him! I have a thing for tabbies and he is just such a cutie with a little attitude. But in the end, he loves the people and other animals in his life!
The Garfield movie with Jennifer Love Hewitt is a classic. My all time favorite movie…Babe!! Talking animals just crack me up!
My favorite cat movie is a old one. “The Three Lives Of Thomasina”. As a kid i loved it so much i named a stray cat i was feeding Thomasina. That cat later gave me Cat Scratch Fever and i was in the hospital for 2 months! Now that is a real cat lover…lol.
Favorite meowvie with a cat would definitely be Homeward Bound. No matter how many times I see it, I cry…And, of course we all know that “Cat’s Rule, and dogs drool”!!!!
That Darn Cat, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, and The Aristocats.
My favorite cat movie would have to be Puss in Boots! So adorable! Homeward Bound was pretty cute as well.love Sassy
Wow my favorite movie is really hard to pin down but my favorite cat movie is a bit easier.
“Homeward Bound” has to be my all time favorite because of Sally Field’s voice over for the cat. She has so many great lines in that movie, but of course the one I use all the time and I see others do too; “Cats Rule and Dogs Drool!”
What a great line.
