The Conscious Cat wins Certificate of Excellence
The Conscious Cat won a Certificate of Excellence in the Cat Writers’ Association’s annual contest! The contest showcases the very best in the feline field of professional writers, broadcasters, photographers and graphic artists. The Conscious Cat won in the “Website” category.
I also won Certificates of Excellence for three individual articles in the category of “Online Article – Health and General Care.” The winning articles are:
No one right answer when it comes to making medical decisions (originally published on Petconnection.com)
Cats who refuse to be pilled may take emotional toll on owners (originally published on Petconnection.com)
FIV – separting myth from fact
Winning these certificates also means that I’m a finalist for the coveted Muse™ Medallion Awards. Muse Medallion Award winners will be announced at a banquet at the annual CWA conference in November.
Since the standards for winning these awards are very high and winners are determined by a jury of my peers, this kind of recognition of my work means the world to me.

Ingrid, let me be the first to congratulate you–on your blog at least! What a wonderful way to start the weekend.
Thanks, Bernadette – and congratulations to you, too!

Thanks, Britta!
What an amazing way to cap the week. Huge congrats and hugs.
Thanks, Layla!
