		<description>Thanks for the link to the NY Times article, Connie.   It is worrisome how little control we really seem to have over our food supply.

Unfortunately, I think there&#039;s no way to be 100% sure about any food we choose, whether it&#039;s for us or for our pets.  I think what it comes down to is that we can only educate ourselves as best we can on the pros and cons of the various choices and then make a choice based on each individual pet and person.  

The article you referred to talks mainly about dry foods - I don&#039;t recommend those for pets.  For pet parents who don&#039;t feel comfortable with raw feeding (and I&#039;m one of them) and who don&#039;t want to cook for their pets, I recommend a quality brand canned food.</description>
